First sentence of step 5 – “To make the tacos, sprinkle ½ ounce of cheddar in a clean non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.”

Seems pretty clear!

I followed the directions and they worked out fine! You just have to give the cheese enough time to crisp up under the tortilla and it slides right out of the pan. Everyone loved them!

You have the chicken ,after shredded back in the skillet with the juices, then the cheese being sprinkled in the skillet, tortilla, cheese and then filling. This was an awful mess. I didn’t put the chicken back in the skillet obviously, but a bowl with juices. Sprinkled some cheese in the pan (Hot or cold, you didn’t say) and it melted like molten lava, the tortilla stuck to the pan, becoming a limp gross and cheesy mess. I spent more time cleaning up my pan than the whole dinner was worth. I have never had a problem with most of your recipes, but this one, wasn’t worth it.
