Thinking back to all the things that must get done when your kids are this age: all the food you make, packing lunches, washing all the clothes and uniforms, driving everywhere, planning birthday celebrations, sports practices and games, plays/rectitals/school functions, buying clothes, cleaning the house, sharpening hockey skates, tightening tennis rackets, and finding all the things nobody else can find. Plus you invest yourself in joining in all their activities, teaching them about God, helping with homework (I’m sure I could name more). On top of that, you have your husband and business to run, and I guess you have other family and friends (not just us invisible internet friends!). I have grandchildren now, but it isn’t hard to remember all the work—or all the JOY of being a mom. I have been reading your blog since the “Mr. How Sweet” days and remember anticipating Max’s birth with you. Thanks for letting us live in your life a little each week-and thanks for all the great ideas for meals all these years.
With appreciation and blessings to you and yours, Happy Mother’s Day!

Dying over the entertainment fridgeand all of the drinks…want to checkout out the San Pelligrino ones!
I’m a longtime reader and fan of your recipes and I have to say that I am so inspired that you manage to run a successful business while being a busy mom of three kids as well. I’m a new mom and run a small food blog, and I have a newfound appreciation for how entrepreneur moms balance it all!
